Home About Us Services Projects Press Staff Vacancies Contact us   ::   Data Fundi wins KMPG “fastest growing Medium sized company” trophy Data Fundi was declared one of Uganda’s “fastest growing Medium sized companies, in a survey by KPMG Uganda and Monitor Publications to identify Uganda’s Top 100 mid-size companies 2009/10. The survey aimed to showcase business excellence while highlighting some of the country’s most successful entrepreneurship stories. Statistics show that small and medium sized businesses contribute over 75 per cent of the country’s wealth and provide over 70 per cent of the jobs in Uganda. “This was an opportunity for us to be benchmarked against our peers through independent judges and find out how we rated. It was as well an opportunity to network and share experiences. We are proud to be listed among Uganda’s Top 100 SMEs.”, said the beaming Data Fundi PR manager Kayongo Anita. The ceremony which was held at the Kampala Serena Hotel during dinner was attended by the Investments minister Aston Kajara, KPMG East Africa Managing Partner Josphat Mwaura, and several local and regional business champions. The survey attracted approximately 241 entries and was open to businesses with an annual turnover of between Shs360 million to Shs25 billion.
