We provide support to sector regulatory agencies such as Uganda Communications Commission, and to incumbent or new operators such as Emperion. Support to regulators includes technical audits of universal access projects, baseline surveys, spectrum interference resolution etc. Services to operators include license processing, spectrum applications and frequency coordination.

Data Fundi through its founders has a long and lasting relationship with Communication Regulatory Authorities Telecommunication. The relationship predates the birth of Data Fundi as a separate entity. In 1999-2001, the current Managing Director and founder Director, Mr. Edward Kasule Musisi was Resident Technical Advisor to Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority. Mr. Musisi was the pioneer technical auditor outsourced by UCC-RDCF to oversee the implementation of investments in Pay Phones, Internet Cafes, Vanguard ICT Training Centers and District Information Portal. Over a three year period (2003-2006) Mr. Musisi carried out technical audits of more than 40 such projects covering practically all the districts in Uganda In 2006, Data Fundi (U) Limited was engaged by UCC RCDF to carry out technical audits of internet service projects implemented by the National Operators.
